Our team consists of certified and experienced pet caregivers who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your furry amd not so furry friends. We understand the importance of trust in our industry, and we work hard to earn your trust and loyalty.
Emily
Emily is the Founder and Owner of Fur Nanny.
Emily was born and raised in Sarasota. She lived briefly in New York where she completed her Bachelors Degree in Biology at SUNY Stonybrook. She also has minors in Marine Science and Political Science. Emily has extensive experience in the Veterinary field, along with practical experience in caring for all types of animals.
Emily is partial to large breeds, as she is the owner of Rabbit, a pointer mix, Daisy the FBD and Ember AKA Shaky Butt who is s boxer mix, Stoli the pig, Bonnee and Klyde the Sphinx Cats, and some chickens.
Ken
Ken had been in the hospitality field since 1982 as a manager in big chains and kitchen manager for smaller catering firms before joining Fur Nanny. He loves animals especially Great Danes. Ken looks forward to the opportunity to spending some quality time with some new furry and feathered friends. Ken relocated to Florida in 1974 and has been here ever since.
Deb
Deb has lived in Sarasota since 2001. She truly has a passion for animals and plants. Currently her crew includes 7 rescue dogs of her own that are her world, Fiona-Ice-Eva-Willow-Piper-Stella and Honey
Dottie
Dottie was born and raised in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and moved to Sarasota in 2001. She has a Masters Degree from East Tennessee State University and has taught middle school for 26 years. She has owned pets throughout her life, loves pets, and has a very compassionate heart for them. Dottie is looking forward to taking care of your precious pets.
